Why Do We Serve?

Jesus Himself said, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and give His life as a ransom for many.(Mark 10:45 NIV)

That’s why in our church, we genuinely believe that we are most like Christ when we serve, when we give of ourselves for the sake of someone else.

No strings attached, unselfishly giving of our time, abilities and labor - all in Jesus’ Name and for His sake.

What Is Serve Week?

SERVE Week is all about sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways.  Our goal isn’t to promote our church; there’s no hidden agenda. For these eight days (192 hours), we will focus on being the hands of feet of Jesus. Our prayer is that our combined efforts will be a powerful display of God’s love for all people.

Kid'sWay Serve Week

We love having our kids participate in SERVE Week. On Sunday, July 20th, all kids attending Kid’sWay will help make utensil packets and placemats for Cathedral Kitchen - a local organization that helps fight food insecurity in Camden County.
