August Baptisms

Baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It is a public declaration that you have trusted Him for your salvation and are choosing to follow Him.

When Jesus walked the earth, He was baptized, and we follow His example. During baptism, we are immersed in water to identify with Jesus’ death and burial, and raised out of the water to celebrate His resurrection and the new life we have in Him.

Baptism is a powerful way to declare:

• You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
• You have begun a new life in Him.
• You are part of God’s family.
